An Inspection Body Authorized by the Japanese Government
AISJ Global is the international inspection division of Garage Ono Co., Ltd. — a government-authorized automotive inspection body operating in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, since 2005. We are not a broker or an agent. We conduct physical vehicle inspections ourselves, at our own MLIT-licensed facility.
Our facility holds the Shitei Kojo (指定工場) designation — the highest level of Japanese government authorization, granting us full independent authority to conduct official Shaken (vehicle roadworthiness) inspections without referral to a government station. We also hold the Nintei Kojo (認定工場) certification for specialized vehicle overhaul and repair.
Through AISJ Global, we extend this inspection expertise internationally — currently serving Pakistani importers and Japanese used car exporters with PSQCA-approved Roadworthiness Inspection (RWI) services, and with a proven track record across Africa and the Caribbean.

Garage Ono Co., Ltd. Established
Founded in Bando City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Specialized automotive maintenance commenced on 29 November 2005 (Heisei 17), laying the foundation for two decades of technical excellence.
MLIT Shitei Kojo Designation Obtained
Garage Ono received the 指定工場 (Shitei Kojo) designation from the Kanto Regional Transport Bureau — the highest level of MLIT authorization, granting full authority to conduct official Japanese Shaken inspections independently. Certificate No. Kanto-Shi 5-1427.
Nintei Kojo — Certified Repair Factory Authorization
Awarded the 認定工場 (Nintei Kojo) certificate by the Kanto Regional Transport Bureau Director, authorizing comprehensive vehicle overhaul and specialized repair across all vehicle classes. Certificate No. 5-3783, issued 26 March 2021.
International Inspection Partnerships — Africa & Caribbean
Garage Ono successfully supported pre-export vehicle inspection programs as a technical partner for markets including Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania, Jamaica, and Guyana — building the international expertise that underpins AISJ Global.
AISJ Global Launched — PSQCA Approved for Pakistan
Automotive Inspection Services Japan (AISJ Global) officially launched as the international inspection division of Garage Ono. Approved by PSQCA as a government-designated inspection body for Pakistan’s Roadworthiness Inspection (RWI) program under SRO 2443(I)/2025. AISJ is the third body globally approved for this program.

Garage Ono Co., Ltd. holds two separate certificates issued by the Kanto Regional Transport Bureau under Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) — the legal foundation of every AISJ inspection.

VIN verification, odometer cross-checking, Shaken-sho authentication, and export certificate validation — all in-house.

Garage Ono Co., Ltd.
Ryo Taguchi is the Chief Executive Officer of Garage Ono Co., Ltd. and the principal authority behind the AISJ Global program. With over 20 years of automotive inspection experience and direct oversight of the MLIT-authorized facility in Ibaraki Prefecture, he leads the technical and operational standards that define every AISJ inspection.
Under his leadership, Garage Ono obtained the Shitei Kojo designation in 2018, expanded into international inspection markets, and in 2026 established AISJ Global as Pakistan’s newest PSQCA-approved inspection body.
